The Kaduna State Government has received inancing from the Islamic Development Bank toward

the cost of the Construction/Equipping of 300-Bed Specialist Hospital Project in Kaduna State, and

it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this inancing to payments under the following contracts:

(i) Procurement/Installation of Medical Equipment and Medical Furniture (ii) Procurement/Installation

of Operating Theatre & Central Sterilization Services Department Equipment (iii) Procurement/

Installation of Imaging & Radiotherapy Equipment.The Kaduna State Ministry of Health and Human

Services now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following:

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (Open) procedures

speciied in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines; ‘Procurement of Goods and Works under

Islamic Development Bank Financing May 2009 Edition’, and is open to all bidders from eligible

source countries as deined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents

at the Project Management Unit of the Kaduna State Ministry of Health & Human Services at the

address below from 9.00am - 400pm everyday with the exception of Saturday and Sunday.

A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders

on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-

refundable fee of US$450:00. The method of payment will be cash/draft. The document will be sent

by courier services.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12.00 noon of 20th November, 2018. All

bids must be accompanied by the bid security. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the

presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 12.30pm on

20th November, 2018.

Seeks for Two VICE PRESIDENT Positions

The successful

VP-Academic Affairs

will be responsible for overseeing

the three Graduate Schools at AIT. The

VPAA

will work with the three

Deans and the faculty members and the President to chart the direction

of academic and degree programs at AIT.

• Holding a Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in a

teaching discipline, higher education administration or closely

related field.

• Has been at least a Dean at a reputable institution of higher

learning and interested in education and research and

management.

• A strong communication and interpersonal capabilities to enable

collaboration across the AIT campus, with our alumni, and with

international networks.

The

VP-Administration

position envisages strong leadership qualities,

responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans

at all levels of the administrative operations of the institute. The VPA

will work with the President on streamlining non-academic services on

campus.

• Holding an advanced degree from an accredited institution in

management, business administration, or closely related field.

• The candidate should have significant administrative and

financial experience at either an institution of higher learning or

a major corporation. If from the latter organization, then he/she

must be well-familiar with operations in an academic institution.
