Товч агуулга:The objective of the Roundtable was to enable policy-makers, representatives of the private sector, and the academia, from each of the North- East Asian countries to explore ways and means in which trade and investment complementarities of the subregion could be harnessed through economic cooperation in the short- and long-run for the individual and collective gain of the participating economies. The secretariat would like to acknowledge with appreciation the assistance received from the resource persons, the Economic Research Institute for Northeast Asia (ERINA), the Korea Trade Promotion Corporation (KOTRA), and the Seoul office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the Roundtable.
This publication contains the background papers prepared for the Roundtable and a report on the discussions and recommendations that emerged therefrom. It is hoped that the publication will be useful to policy-makers, the private sector and researchers concerned with issues of trade and investment cooperation in North-East Asia.
