Товч агуулга:Published by the Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the UN, this report is on the population and development policies of 194 UN member and non-member states from 1976 to 2005. First it outlines policies on population size and growth, population age structure, fertility and family planning, health and mortality, spatial distribution, and internal and international migration. Country profiles of national population policies follow, which are in the form of tables and from the years 1976, 1986, 1996, and 2005. Several more policy variables have been included in this volume (HIV/AIDS control measures, internal migration, temporary and highly skilled workers, and family reunification), as opposed to the 2003 volume; some have been omitted, such as those concerning migrant workers. Before 2003, the report was published as National Population Policies 2001 and under the same name in 1998. It was published as Global Review and Inventory of Population Policies (GRIPP) before 1998.
