Chapter 1 describes social welfare system and development of social work in Mongolia, while discussing the roots and the history of Mongolian Buddism. Chapter 2 is completely focused on activities provided by temples and Buddhist in various Mongolian regions, while exploring the characteristics of Mongolian Buddhist social work. Chapter 3 provides readers with detailed study on Buddhist social work activities provided outside of temples, being focused on NGO’s.
