Low birthweight Country, regional and global estimates

БС 3322-3326
The book highlights one of the major challenges in measuring low birth weight is that more than half of all babies in developing countries are not weighed. Previously, most estimates of low birth weight in developing countries were based on data collected from health facilities. However, these estimates are biased in developing countries because the majority of babies are not born in hospitals, and those born in hospitals are only a select sample of all births.
