This edition sees the addition of more colour illustrations in the order to enhance the techniques described in the text. As with the last edition we have had to remove some more of the less commonly used histological methods, which is unfortunate but a necessity, otherwise the book would have been impossibly large. Where relevant, we have continued the policy of outlining the uses of histological techniques in solving specific diagnostic problems.
